With deep regret and protest, Cheezmeeza declares that the exclusive rights to its animation have been sold to MBC without the consent and official authorization of its creator, Vahid NikGoo. This action is not only a clear violation of intellectual property and copyright laws, but it has also directly impacted our professional and business activities, leading to irreparable damages.
Explanation of Misuse and Intellectual Property Theft
Definitive Ownership of the Work: Vahid Nikgoo, in his personal studio in Los Angeles, carried out all stages of production and development of the Cheezmeeza animation, from scriptwriting, design, and voiceover to publication.
Misconduct by Sina Valiollah and Unauthorized Sale: Sina Valiollah, the host of Chandshanbeh Ba Sina, acted as a minor investor in a limited portion of the production. Not only did he fail to sign any contract for purchasing the rights to the animation, but after terminating our collaboration, he illegally sold the animation rights to MBC without permission.
- Illegal Use by MBC: MBC has falsely claimed ownership of the work by referring to invalid documents** and has exploited it across various platforms without considering the legal rights of its creator
- Unauthorized Access and Hacking of the Official Page: Following the illegal sale of the copyright, the official CheezMeeza Instagram page was hacked by Sina Valiollah in collaboration with an Iranian employee at Meta, cutting off our legal access to the account
Request for Documentation and Lack of Response
We requested MBC and Sina Valiollah to provide the documents they claim justify their right to use and hold the copyright of CheezMeeza in digital space. However, we have received no response. Meanwhile, MBC continues to claim that it has purchased all rights to the animation from a “WIDE NETWORK SOLUTIONS”
Legal Actions
In pursuit of our rights, Cheezmeeza:
1. Filed an official complaint with YouTube to remove videos published by MBC and Sina Valiollah and is actively pursuing the matter
2. Filed a complaint with the FBI and IC3 against the illegal takeover of the official Cheezmeeza Instagram page as cyber theft and a violation of digital ownership.
3. Initiated international legal action against MBC and Sina Valiollah to reclaim the legal rights to this work.
Appeal to Content Platforms and Audiences
We request digital platforms and social media networks to:
- Immediately halt the broadcasting of the stolen content.
- Prevent the re-uploading and further distribution of the illegally used videos.
- Review all accounts associated with this violation and take necessary actions.
We also urge our audience and supporters of artists' rights to assist us by sharing this statement and standing with us in this effort.
Conclusion
Cheezmeeza has always been committed to creating authentic, high-quality content. This illegal theft violates the rights of the creator and sets a dangerous precedent for the misuse of intellectual property. We will vigorously defend our legal rights and will not allow this injustice and violation of artistic rights to continue.
